Emergency Services: The Fairfield Bay Department of Public Safety is here for the resident’s and visitor’s well-being. The Department is small enough to know you but large enough to meet your needs. We have a 24-hour 911 dispatch service, a full-time police department, a certified fire department with three stations, and an emergency rescue squad with two fully-equipped ambulances. One emergency number reaches any assistance you need: 911. For non-emergencies, call (501) 884-6005.
Housing: New house starts are up and Fairfield Bay is growing to accommodate the influx of new families and retirees who have chosen to make Fairfield Bay their home. Whether you are a visitor or prospective new resident, you will find many choices for purchase or rental, short-term or long-term. Single-family homes and condominiums range from the cozy nest in the woods to the expansive lakefront or attractive golf course locations. Wherever you choose to live, you will find your neighbors to be friendly, interesting, and ready to make you feel at home!

Services: Fairfield Bay has a well-stocked library built and supported by the community and run by volunteers. We boast our own newspaper (Lake Area Weekly), a radio station (KFFB FM 106.1), and a cable TV station. We also make good use of our recycling center, seasonal community market, community garden, and compost site. Lakewood Mall, in the heart of the Bay, offers residents and visitors a variety of businesses and shops, with even more choices in the surrounding areas.
