Shane E. Ford, O.D.
Dr. Ford graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Lyon College. Following that, he graduated Cum Laude in 2000 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association where he has served as a director and currently serves as president. He also serves on the Arkansas Eye and Vision Commission. His past honors include the Arkansas Young Optometrist of the Year as well as the Special Service Award. Dr. Ford donates his time to the InfantSee program, VisionUSA, and has worked with other charitable organizations to provide eye care for those in need. He has also served on mission trips to Honduras. Dr. Ford and his wife Tanya have two daughters and live in Conway. Dr. Ford enjoys anything outdoors with the girls such as fishing, hiking, and spending time at the family farm.
Eric M. Robbins, O.D.
Dr. Robbins was raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas and graduated Fayetteville High School in 1992. In high school he was active in athletics and honored as an all-state defensive end. He was also active in Boys Scouts and achieved rank of Eagle Scout. In 1992 Dr. Robbins moved to Conway to attend University of Central Arkansas. During his time at UCA, Dr. Robbins was a member and president of Sigma Tau Gamma and served as a representative in Student Government. Dr. Robbins graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1996 with a degree in Biology. In 1997 Dr. Robbins began his Optometric education at the Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, TN. In 1998 he was married to his wife Holly whom he had met and dated at UCA. In 2001 Dr. Robbins graduated from SCO. Dr. Robbins then returned to Conway after graduation to begin practicing optometry. He has been a partner with Arkansas Eye Care Group since 2005. Dr. Robbins and his wife have two sons, Luke and Zack. He enjoys his time off with his family by hunting, attending church at Second Baptist of Conway, and volunteers as a den leader for Cub Scouts. Dr. Robbins is an active member of both the Arkansas and American Optometric association.

Dr. Scaife is a native Arkansan growing up in eastern Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1995 with a B.S. in Biology. Afterwards, he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis where he graduated in 2000. Dr. Scaife is a board certified Optometric Physician and is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association. Dr. Scaife and his wife Metra have three children, Marlee, Lyndee, and John Hunter. Dr. Scaife has been practicing Optometry in the Conway area for the past 10 years now.
James F. McCoy, O.D.
Dr. McCoy has been caring for patients in the Conway and Clinton area since 1967. He attended Hendrix College prior to graduating from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. The Child Advocacy Alliance of North Central Arkansas is an independent nonprofit serving Faulkner, Van Buren, Searcy, Pope and Conway counties. Originally founded in 2001 as CASA of the 20th Judicial District, the Children’s Advocacy Alliance oversees both the Central Arkansas Children’s Advocacy Center and the CASA 20th Judicial District program. The two programs work side by side to provide coordinated guidance, treatment and support for child victims of abuse and neglect, from the initial investigation of abuse to their placement in a safe, permanent home. The Children’s Advocacy Alliance is a place for hope and a voice for justice.

The Fairfield Bay Animal Control Shelter is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1994 by The Fairfield Bay Animal Protection League. The Fairfield Bay Animal Shelter provides shelter, care, resource, and adoption services for the many domestic cats and dogs that stray, become lost, or are abandoned each year in our area.. We depend heavily on donations for our shelter.

Shelter And Ordinance Information
Adoptions from the Fairfield Bay Shelter:
Dogs: $75.00 fee
This fee covers vaccinations, worming and spay/neuter.

Any animal adopted that will reside within Fairfield Bay City Limits requires a City License before leaving the shelter. City License fee is $10.00 per animal and must be renewed yearly. Failure to renew City License will incur a charge of $25.00. Any animal picked up in the City of Fairfield Bay (with or without a license) is considered Animal At Large and Animal Control can issue a warning or a fine.
Animal Reclaim from Shelter:
Any animal that is being reclaimed for the Animal Shelter will incur the following charges:
$40.00 pick up fee.
$10.00 per day maintenance, plus $5.00 for vaccination, $5.00 for worming. And any other incurred veterinary fees.
After 72 hours the animal becomes the property of the Fairfield Bay Shelter, Reclaim will be $165.00 for Spay/Neuter and any applicable vaccinations as per State Law. (Second offense pick up and maintenance goes up by $10.00 etc)
When reclaiming an animal, please bring your Certificate of Rabies Vaccination as well as your current City License. If you do not have these you will be required to obtain these before the animal can be released, at your expense.
According to Ordinance, there is no hold time for healthy feral cats. We do work with trusted farms that will place our altered ferals into their colonies. We do this to avoid euthanizations as well as to give our ferals the freedom they are so used to. We do this only with permission from these farms as well as City and County acceptance. We do NOT release ferals back into FFB City Limits.
Our story begins with our staff. Owners Dwight Olmstead and Darriel Ezell have long thought opening a funeral home in Van Buren County. After much prayer, thought and support from their wives, Lisa and Jessica, Dwight and Darriel brought their over 60 years of combined experience to Clinton.
